Rainbow Cupcake Cake – Colorful Party Birthday Cake

A giant cupcake-style celebration cake with colorful layers, mascarpone cream and a chocolate shell. The original KitchenBook.tv video shows a Trolls-inspired design; our new illustration uses an original rainbow decoration.

Ingredients

• 5–6 Milka chocolate bars for the chocolate cupcake case (as described in the video)
• For each of 2 cake batches: 3 eggs
• For each of 2 batches: 250 g powdered sugar
• For each of 2 batches: 100 g butter
• For each of 2 batches: 1 tsp lemon flavoring
• For each of 2 batches: 100 ml lemon juice
• For each of 2 batches: 250 g wheat flour
• For each of 2 batches: 2 tsp baking powder
• Food coloring for the cake layers
• For filling: 500 g mascarpone
• For filling: 200 ml whipping cream
• For filling: 8 tbsp sugar and a few drops lemon flavoring
• For decoration: 250 g mascarpone
• For decoration: 330 ml whipping cream
• For decoration: 5 tbsp sugar
• Whipped cream stabilizer and food coloring
